INDONESIA : Bantimurung waterfalls, butterfly kingdom behind the waterfall

Bantimurung Waterfall is a natural attractions in South Sulawesi, which is very famous and much visited by tourists. Bantimurung Waterfall has located in the subdistrict of Bantimurung, Maros, South Sulawesi Province.  
This waterfall has a width of 20 meters and a height of 15 meters. The water is crystal clear and cool off from the rock with a heavy year-round. Under the waterfall flow, there is a bathhouse from the hard ground limestone and covered with layers of minerals due to the flow of water for hundreds of years. The depth of water in the bath is between the ankles to the waist.
To the left of the waterfall there is a 10-meter-high concrete staircase that was the way to the two caves that surround the waterfall, the Cave of Dreams and the Batu Caves.
Besides having a stunning waterfall, Waterfall Bantimurung tourist area is also a habitat for many species of
rare butterflies, so the Dutch colonists once dubbed this place as "The Kingdom of Butterfly". In fact, a British naturalist, Alfred Wallase Rassel, had lived in this area for approximately one year (1856-1857) to examine 150 species of butterflies that are rare it is. Of the 250 jenih butterflies that exist in this world, there are 150 species in the Area Tourism Bantimurung, Maros, South Sulawesi, according to UNESCO Area Tourism is the second largest national park in the world after China for the species of butterflies. Until now, visitors can still see the wonderful colorful butterflies with many species of flying to get there - here among the flowers and shrubs that meet the rock Bantimurung.
